Washington Nationals -115 at JAMAICA |

| Take: (952) WASHINGTON NATIONALS Reason: Marlins at Nationals. Alex Sanabia goes for the Marlins, a guy with a 4.56 road ERA where opponents his .284 off him. He has a 5.82 ERA his last three starts. Washington starter John Lannan (7-6) has a winning record and has been throwing great, with a 2.75 ERA his last three starts, striking out 14 in 19 innings with only one walk. Play the Nationals. |

NFL | Sep 09, 2010 Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints |
Total 48½ ov-110 at BETUS |
Lost $110.0 |
|
Take: over Reason: A rematch of the NFC Championship game, won by the Saints, 31-28 in OT on this same field. The Vikings rolled up 475 yards in that game, but still lost. Brett Favre is back and they have RB Adrian Petersen, who tore up the Saints for 122 yards (4.9 ypc) in the playoffs. The defending champion Saints have been at home in three of the last four weeks. They get to salute their champions here, which will be doubly hard on the Vikings, knowing they probably should have beaten New Orleans. QB Drew Brees leads a stocked offense with WRs Marques Colston, Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem, plus a potent ground game with Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush. This was the No. 1 offense in the NFL last season and looks just as devastating, averaging 31.9 ppg. Look for an offensive show indoors on turf. Play the Saints/Vikings Over the total. |

MLB | Sep 09, 2010 San Francisco Giants vs. San Diego Padres |
San Francisco Giants -101 at 5DIMES |
Won $100 |
|
Take: (907) SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS Reason: It's a great race in the NL West as we come down the home stretch, with the Padres and Giants battling it out. The Giants go with a terrific young arm in Matt Cain, with a 3.18 ERA. He has realy cut down his walks this season, a huge part of his improvement. The Giants are 8-2 his last 10 starts. Jon Garland is an aging arm and the team is 0-2 his last two starts, giving up 6 runs in 11 innings. Back the young ace in this one. Play the Giants. |

MLB | Sep 09, 2010 St. Louis Cardinals vs. Atlanta Braves |
St. Louis Cardinals -113 at JAMAICA |
Won $100 |
|
ake: (903) ST. LOUIS CARDINALS Reason: Inner Circle: Cardinals. A key pennant race battle, so both teams are motivated, but the Cardinals are the healthier team. Atlanta starter Jair Jurrjens has been erratic, walking 11 in his last 3 starts (18 innings) for a 5.00 ERA. The Atlanta offense has to face St. Louis ace Adam Wainwright (17-10), with a sizzling 2.34 ERA. While Jurrjens is 1-3 against the Braves, Wainwright is a perfect 5-0. St. Louis has a solid bullpen and their ace. Play the Cardinals. |

MLB | Sep 09, 2010 Texas Rangers vs. Toronto Blue Jays |
Toronto Blue Jays +105 at BOOKM |
Lost $100.0 |
|
ake: (912) TORONTO BLUE JAYS Reason: Texas has a big lead in the AL West, so there is no sense of urgency. This is not a great road team, with a losing record away from home. Starter Colby Lewis has had a bad second half, with the Rangers 1-8 his last 9 starts. He's allowed a frightening 21 runs in his last 4 starts (24 innings). Texas has never faced Toronto starter Shawn Hill. Hill has made five starts at Triple-A this year as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery, posting a 3.00 ERA and 9:5 K:BB ratio in 21 innings. Play the Blue Jays. |
