They are 4-0 SU & 4-0 ATS this season against an easy schedule of Utah Tech and Arizona at home, as well as Colorado State and TCU on the road. And they barely covered the spread in all four games, and because they are 4-0 ATS they are overvalued and it's time to 'sell high' on them.They beat Utah Tech by 56 as 50.5-point favorites. They beat Arizona by 11 as 6.5-point home favorites, a game in which Arizona lost its best receiver in the 1st quarter. They only outgained Arizona by 38 yards. They only beat Colorado State by 18 as 17.5-point favorites, a Colorado State team that is getting blasted by everyone. And they only beat TCU by 7 as 5.5-point favorites. They were actually held to 216 yards and 3.5 yards per pay by TCU but found a way to escape with a victory late.I think BYU is going to have to try and grind this one out, too. That's because the Cougars will be without their best playmakers in RB LJ Martin, who won the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year award in 2025. Martin was well on his way again with 344 rushing yards and 3 TD on 7.8 per carry thus far this season. It's a huge blow to the offense. The Cougars will also be without one of their best defenders in LB Isaiah Glasker as well.Iowa State had a tough time tackling Utah and West Virginia the last two weeks. But those were two explosive, dynamic offenses. BYU is not that, making this a much better matchup for them. They are built for physicality defensively and matched up well with Iowa in a 16-13 loss. Iowa profiles similar to BYU, a big, physical team that likes to grind you out. Iowa State matches up well with that.Iowa State fell behind 21-0 but came back and got within one score of Utah before eventually losing 31-17. Utah looks like the best team in the Big 12. The Cyclones came back last week and proved they could win a shootout, beating West Virginia 45-42 behind 577 yards of offense and 7.6 per play. Their offensive coordinator is one of the best in college football that not too many know about in Tyler Roehl. He is getting the most out of this offense, and head coach Jimmy Rogers and DC Jesse Bobbit are getting the most out of this defense. It's just what Rogers does, he wins everywhere he goes and gets the most out of his players.Iowa State will be 'all in' this week getting to face a Top 10 team and also knowing it has a bye on deck next week to rest. Look for Roehl to open up the entire playbook and give his team the best chance to win. RB Aidan Flora was the National Offensive Player of the Week with 5 TD's last week including 2 passing. It just shows how Roehl is so good at scheming things up.BYU will not be 'all in' this week. That's because the Cougars have their biggest game of the season on deck next week as they will be hosting Notre Dame. Coming off the big road win at TCU last week, and with Notre Dame on deck this next week, it would be easy for the Cougars to overlook the Cyclones.
