NBA | Feb 04, 2012 Oklahoma City Thunder vs. San Antonio Spurs |
Oklahoma City Thunder +3-110 at BETUS |
Lost $110.0 |
|
Today's winner Oklahoma City over San Antonio. This is my 100 Star Winner. Oklahoma City owns the best record in the NBA. If they plan on getting to the Finals, they must go through San Antonio. This matchup may very well be a Playoff preview. These teams met back in January in Oklahoma City. The Thunder won by 12, but controlled the pace from the get-go, leading by 21 as the 4th quarter began. Granted, it was one of the first games without Ginobili in the lineup for the Spurs. Right now, San Antonio is still showing signs of weakness on "D" They have won their L3 and covered 4 straight. But the 3 wins were against the bottom three squads in the South West. Memphis (12-11), Houston (13-10), and New Orleans (4-19) aren't exactly considered NBA elite. Durant, Westbrook, and Harden are combining for 65.3 PPG, 16.9 RPG, and each are 80% or better from the line. But it is Serge Ibaka that is the cog that makes the Thunders wheel run. The Forward's presence in the paint and his rebounding prowess is a huge reason for the team's success. OKC is 18-4 SU, winning 6 of their L7, going 3-1 ATS on the road. As a matter of fact, the road team is 7-3 ATS the L10 in this series. The Thunder are 6-2 ATS their L8 games played on the road, 7-3-1 ATS their L11 games played as a 'dog, and 9-4 ATS their L13 games played overall. Take Oklahoma City. Thank you. |

NCAA-B | Feb 04, 2012 Buffalo vs. Toledo |
Buffalo -5-110 at BETUS |
Won $100 |
|
Today's winner is Buffalo over Toledo. This is my MAC Game of the Month. It seems the MAC East is having their way with the MAC West this season. The Bulls are red-hot, winning and covering 5 straight, by an average of 12.6 PPG. In their current 5 game win streak, Buffalo is shooting "lights-out", hitting 52% from beyond the arc, averaging 9 triples per game. McCrea, Watt, and Filzen are teaming up for 43.6 PPG, 17.8 RPG, tallied 104 assists, 49 steals, and 72 blocks. The Buffalo front court of 6'10" Watt, 6'7" Robinson, and 6'7" McCrea dwarfs their Toledo undersized counterparts. The Rockets don't have a starter taller than Matt Smith who lists as 6'7". Toledo will get manhandled down low in this matchup. They rank 136th in FG%. The team has dropped 11 of their L15 SU, failing to cover their L2, being blown-out by 16 and 14 points. Buffalo has taken the L4 meetings over Toledo by a combined 60 points. The Bulls are 5-0-1 ATS their L6 games played overall, 5-0-1 ATS their L6 games vs. the MAC, and 4-0 ATS their L4 games following a SU win. Take Buffalo. Thank you. |

NCAA-B | Feb 04, 2012 Northern Illinois vs. Bowling Green |
Bowling Green -17-110 at SIA |
Won $100 |
|
Today's winner is Bowling Green over Northern Illinois. This is my Odds Makers Mistake Play. The odds makers are way off on this line. Bowling Green should be at least a 22-23 point fav here. BG is 13-5 ATS this season, covering 6 of their L8, including 3 of 4 at home. The Falcons come off of one of their strongest performances this season, whooping Western Michigan, 72-48 (as a 4 point 'dog) sinking 14 of their first 15 shots. Forwards Calhoun and Thomas are evolving into a very dangerous front court duo, combining for 25.0 PPG, 12.8 RPG, 17 blocks, with both shooting just about 70% from the line. NIU is 2-18 SU, 0-8 on the road, 1-7 in the Conference, and are riding a 5 game skid in which they are being outscored by 19.6 PPG. The Huskies rank 344th in FG%. They lack the height and muscle to penetrate the paint so they have no choice but to chuck it from outside where they are just 29.3%. Bowling Green has taken the L5 contests over Northern Illinois, including a 2 game sweep and cover LY. The Falcons are 8-2 ATS their L10 games played at home, 6-2 ATS their L8 games vs. the MAC, and 4-1 ATS their L5 games played against teams with a losing record. Take Bowling Green. Thank you. |
